Autumn, a time for preparation of the process of renewal.

Autumn, or Fall, as the Americans call it, is a time for the leaves of deciduous plants to ripen and share with the viewers the richness and splendour of their changing colours, before they fall to earth and disclose the nakedness of their wearers, as they ready themselves for the long sleep or slumber of the cold Winter months.

Similarly to deciduous trees and plants are the animals that hibernate in Winter, having stocked up their bodies and pantries with the nourishment and food store they need to see themselves through the lean Winter months.

And so we have trees, plants and animals preparing themselves for their annual renewal, before their 'rebirth' in Spring.

And what of people; when do we have our 'rebirth' and 'renewal?  This, I ponder on, and is yet to find a coherent answer or explanation.
