A THOUGHT FOR NOW - THE 'EASY LIFE' AS A DANGER TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF HUMANS?

THE HUMAN BODY AND INTELLECT NEED TO BE CHALLENGED BY THE ELEMENTS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE AND DEVELOP THEIR FULL POTENTIAL

The 'easy life ' is not good for the body or the ergo sumness of humans. The body needs to have appropriate challenges for it to develop or realises its full potential, in the lifetime of its owner and, intergenerationally, contribute towards the evolution of the human specie.

For reasons such as these, a living which insulatess us from, at least, regular but not overwhelming hardships is likely to weaken the body and its pedigree.  Similarly, an intellect - ergo sum - which is  not  challenged by the environment in which its owner lives, and or have access to, is not going to develop hi/her full potential as an individual, and make their intergenerational contribution towards the advancement of the humans specie. We can, for example, see this situation in societies in which the state and/or religious authorities places restrictions or prohibitions on the intellectual pursuits of its subjects or 'devotees.'

This apparent symbiosis between the human body and their ergo sumness or intellect, complements their development, providing they are given the necessary opportunity to do so.

However, it seems to me that there is a danger of the ergo sum advancing too much and replacing the evolutionary advancement of the body, with a speeded up one, based on a 'techno-medicalised' model; probably based on the manipulation of the human gene.

Enjoy you living, but consider avoiding an over-protected lifestyle, devoid of the challenges which tests and help to advance your fitness and the evolution of our specie.
