A THOUGHT FOR NOW - HUMANS AND THE CURSE OF THE 'CAINITE SYNDROME'

We humans are able to defy gravity, but not the curse of the 'Canite Syndrome', thus have we weaponised our ability to rise above the clouds.

So, consider this; are we humans really the most self-hating and self-destructive of all or most species?

Are we humans, of the self-perceived highest intellectually functioning primates, the ones who are more inclined to attack and inflict massive destruction on other humans, and to do so persistently and avoidably?

Sure, it is the case that some mammals, such as Lions, will attack and kill the young of their 'newly conquered lioness, without a thought for the victims of their murderous action - probably much the same way as how the male of the human species things little of slaughtering the children and young men of the female of our specie. The lions and lionesses, however, are perceived as of lower intellectual functioning than us humans; they are considered to be driven by their unsocialised and undeveloping instinct. They and the other primates or mammals that indulge in such destructive behaviours, are, unlike us humans, not normally imbued with conscience, compassion, and the ability to empathise; to see and feel the 'us' int the 'them', or 'them' in the 'us' or 'we.'

Humans continue to practice 'human sacrifices', but does so on a massive scale now, instead of only sacrificing our leaders?

So, why is it that we humans have evolved into what can probably be characterised as 'a weaponised being', whereby we allocate and deploy so much of our resources to killing, maiming and otherwise destroying our own kind? Why? Why?

Not only do we have the great slaughtering of humans by humans in the ancient past and the Middle Ages, but we have also had numerous examples of it 'post-Enlightenment period', such as WW1 and WW2. And we are still having it, for example, in Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia, Egypt, Palestine, the DRC, and, in Europe, Russia and the NATO countries are, it seems, gearing up themselves for 'achieving peace by preparing for war.'

Yes, it is probably not by coincidence that the history of us humans, has tended to be the history of warfare, and why we seem to, too often, be living in a composite world with elements of primitivism, barbarism, pre-Enlightenment, and 'post-Enlightenment', all incongruously 'co-existing.'

There are so many unpleasant thing happening in human societies, that it behoves us to focus on the beautiful aspects of ourselves, and our environment, less more of us are driven mad the thought of the evil our specie have done and are doing.

And so it would appear, that we humans, are cursed with the 'Cainite Syndrome', which sees us being jealous of ourselves, being fearful of ourselves, not trusting ourselves, hating ourselves, making enemies of ourselves, eating and destroying ourselves, and not being able to feel  or be at peace with ourselves

And so it is, that, while we continue to be cursed with ignorant, primitive, base and backward political and religious leaders, who are being motivated by the self-hatred, the fear and the primitive and 'Cainite syndrome' of pre-history, we humans are doomed to inherit the winds of sorrow. Despite our supposed higher intellectual functioning and ability to transform our environment, are doomed to inherit the wind of perpetual sorrow!

Yes, it does recall the Christian fable about Adam and Eve, in the garden eating of the tree of life.

Be it as it is, in your daily living, consider endeavouring to acquire as much pleasure from pursuits as you can, while doing what you can to enable others to do so, but try to avoid being too sorrowful about our inhumanity towards our own kind, as this is unlikely to change while we remain cursed by leaders who are cursed by the 'Cainite Syndrome.'

Peace and the absence of conflict continues to elude too many of us humans; causing our living to become too precarious.
