A person is a reflection of their culture, of what they believe and how they live their lives. A bridge between the past and the future, between time and space and needs to try to keep them in harmony, less they become unbalanced. Not to be aware of the past and give it due consideration in the building of the future can distort the future. Neither is it wise to sacrifice your future because you choose to live in or as if you are in the past. One World One Human Race One Destiny (OWOHROD)

A THOUGHT FOR NOW - THE AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND THE DONALD TRUMP PARADOX.
So, how can it be that a man who has, by the things he says and does, and by the adverse reactions of us who consider those things and actions to be detestable, become so vilified, and yet, now appears to be within close proximity of probably taking up tenancy in the White House, and becoming the 45th President of the United States of America?
By what catastrophic events, by what trickery being perpetrated by the gods and by the political machiavellianism of the power elite in the United States, is the Presidency of the U.S. and the proverbial leadership of the 'western world' being held hostage by this unholy and diabolical plot?
How did it come to this, that the man who Donald Trump has metamorphosed into, upto the past month or so, become a credible opponent to Hillary Clinton for the Presidency?
Well, I suspect that there is really a conspiracy amongst the elites and the elitist supporters behind Donald Trump. But I am also wondering whether it is not much more than that; a conspiracy? I am wondering whether what we are seeing is an example of a magnificent success of the commercialisation, the selling of a contrived package of political ideas? Is it the case that Donald Trump is not the vile and despicable man many of us, especially on the left and middle of the political and philosophical spectrum have been making him out to be? But that he really is representative of your average liver or aspirant of the idealised 'American Dream'? Which could be why so many of them are finding his articulated political message increasingly appealing.
Yes, might it not be the case that, inspite of all that he is saying, Donald Trump is probably 'a decent American', 'one of us' as many of his supporters would probably say, and that he is not the inveterate racist and Islamophobe he has been characterised as being?
Might it not be that case that it is 'the racist and Islamophobic and make America great again' message which he has been selected to espouse and promote, which is the real problem? And which should have been the focus of the attack from the Democrats and progressives campaign? Is this not a case of the man having been selected to 'promote and sell ideas' which are probably not his, but are, at least in part, the ideas of the Republicans and elites? Especially since the Republicans have found themselves in the invidious position of having all their 'traditional presidential nominee candidates' trounced by the Don?
And so it seems to me, that the role which Donald Trump has been asked to and is now playing, is one which any other suitable person could have been trained and empowered to perform. Just as how the PR industry is able to equip a 'good person' to play a bad role, so is it possible to equip a 'bad person to play a good role.' It is really or as much about the ideas and roles, as about the person being asked to perform or give effect to them.'
Expediency is much of what politics is about, and that includes in selecting who should be 'playing' a given role at a given time or stage in the 'political game.'
It has been the tendency to attack the person who is seen as embodying the kind of reactionary, racist and homophobic ideas which Donald Trump, at least, until recently - because, make no mistakes about it, Donald Trump will change his tunes when it becomes expedient for him to do so, as if he was a chameleon - has been trumpeting, instead of the ideas themselves. This needs to change, as Donald Trump is espousing ideas and actions which are shared by millions of Americans.
In endeavouring achieve a happy living, difficult as it is, try to avoid thinking that you can defeat obnoxious and offensive beliefs or ideas, by attacking the people who subscribe to them. Focus your attack on the ideas and views, and present you analysis of why you find them odorous and contemptible. In doing so, you are more likely to succeed in making them less attractive to those who fall or might fall prey to them.
