SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX -CONGRATULATIONS ROSBERG AND RICCIARDO - BUT IS LEWIS LACKING IN CONCENTRATION?

Nico Rosberg has done it again, by outwitting his team mate, Lewis Hamilton, to achieve Pole in Q3 for Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix. With Daniel Ricciardo coming in at P2, Hamilton could only achieve a dismal P3, with a massive 7/10 of a second behind his lighting fast team mate, who has put in a sterling drive which Hamilton could not come near to matching.

How did this happen, when Lewis Hamilton would be more than aware that he is only 2 points ahead of his team mate, and that, unless he ups his driving to faultless perfection, tomorrow's Grand Prix could see Rosberg overtaking him with double figures?

Considering Hamilton's explanation during the post-qualifying press conference, it would appear that he has simply - which is probably not the right word, if one were to see the situation as  being a bit more than simply another Q3 preceding tomorrow's race - failed to place himself into the space-time-body-mind zone he needs to be able to glide along  in harmony with the race track.

It is clear that he cannot win tomorrow's Grand Prix without becoming as one with the Singapore race circuit. Without being able to have synchronicity between his mind and his body, his thoughts and his attitude, his mental commands and movements and motions of his body; between him and his car and between his car and the space and time through which the race circuit flows, with the least friction and resistance, so that the energy which they are and which flows through them becomes as if they are one and vibrate in unison. Man, machine, track, time and space and energy being as if they were one, yet, with not of them losing their essential separateness.

Can Lewis Hamilton achieve this today, because, he has not been doing so for at least the last two races. He does appear to be struggling big time coping with the pressure of being in the lead, and seems to be lacking the focus and the concentration which he needs to win and keep winning races. Lewis is running out of time, if he is to retake the lead from his team mate and build up and maintain a sufficient lead to be crowned Formula 1  World Champion 2016.

I fear he could not only be at serious risk of dropping his Hammer, but that he is going to drop it.

He is clearly not driving to his full potential, something which he has to do consistently, if he wants and is to prove himself deserving of the 2016 Championship.

And so we look forward to today's Singapore Grand Prix, knowing that Rosberg and Ricciardo are in front of Hamilton, having placed themselves there through the merits of their masterclass driving. We know that, either of these 3 Podium drivers could win this race, or that it could be won by a driver further down the line.

Let the best driver wins, aided and abetted by the gods, should he prove himself deserving of that extra bit of good fortune!

May the race be safe and exhilarating for drivers, teams and fans alike.
