JUST A THOUGHT - ON HOW 'FAILING COUNTRIES' IN THE AMERICAS CANNOT RESOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS BY RETURNING TO THE 'OLD WAYS.' PART.13.

To turn to crime, make it their 'legitimate' way of life, and pass it on to their children and community as 'a legitimised' lifestyle.

However, once it has become endemic in mainstream society, or 'normalised' into an alternative society.

It is not something which can simply be excoriated, or extricated by the extermination and/or incarceration of the people.

Which include 'ordinary people' who, at different levels of society, are both benefiting from and/or keeping it alive.

No, this response cannot be an appropriate and effective one.

Because the people who inhabit these alternative societies, whether they are in Brazil, Honduras, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Jamaica, et al.

Are, along with their habitations, also a fundamental part of the country in which they exist.

And, like those who consider themselves to be 'the righteous citizens', of whichever country, also, with the appropriate leadership and support.

Have the potential to make significant contributions towards the building of a better Brazil, Tanzania, Kenya, Mali, DRC, or any other nation, for all its people.

It is a problem, a challenge which needs people of great vision and prudence. Sage like character.

And not the crudity and brutality of the butchers whose automatic response is that of, 'lets kill them all.' Lets throw them into our hades- and hellish prisons.'

To be continued!
