A person is a reflection of their culture, of what they believe and how they live their lives. A bridge between the past and the future, between time and space and needs to try to keep them in harmony, less they become unbalanced. Not to be aware of the past and give it due consideration in the building of the future can distort the future. Neither is it wise to sacrifice your future because you choose to live in or as if you are in the past. One World One Human Race One Destiny (OWOHROD)

GOD'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HUMANS - A PROTECTIVE OR ABUSIVE ONE? PART 2.
'It seems to be one of the greatest paradoxes, and is axiomatic, of the human condition.
That their/our God or gods, should be held in greatest esteem, where they appear to be most powerless to help the people who seem to be in greatest need of their help.
And that he/they, should be less needed, where they are less awed by the people, who seem to be in less need of their help.'
Is really one of the latter purportedly making endless promises, which are not or are yet to be delivered. Probably never will.
And there are still others, probably mainly among the believers, who would argue that the relationship between God, or the gods.'
Is one of adults-adults, with each dealing with the other on the basis of merit, of a mutual display of 'free-will' or reciprocity.
In other words, if humans do as the gods, as God is said to have required of them, of us.
Then all will be well, and the gods will then look after us, give us our daily bread, as it were, and protect us.
But only if we do as we are instructed to do. God or the gods will perform the role of being the 'good father.'
However, if we do not, and disobey 'the will of the gods or of God - so much for 'free will' - then they will either punish us, even if the have to wait until the 'day of judgement.'
Or leave us to suffer the detrimental consequences of our actions. Even thought that might not be considered such a 'good or loving fatherly' thing to do.
To be continued!
