A person is a reflection of their culture, of what they believe and how they live their lives. A bridge between the past and the future, between time and space and needs to try to keep them in harmony, less they become unbalanced. Not to be aware of the past and give it due consideration in the building of the future can distort the future. Neither is it wise to sacrifice your future because you choose to live in or as if you are in the past. One World One Human Race One Destiny (OWOHROD)

GOD'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HUMANS - A PROTECTIVE OR ABUSIVE ONE? PART 3.
And then, there are also those of us who would argue that the relationship between us humans and God, or the gods, is one of us being subservient to the gods.
And, why not, some would ask, considering that the gods, God has made us and provided for us abundantly?
Are we not his, they might ask, to do with as he/they please? Like a master would to his servants? Or, others might wish to add, are we not the possession, the things, the slaves of the gods, of God who made us?
Have they not moulded us from the clay they have made with their divine hands, and therefore have the 'right' to bend us this and that way? To remove the life which they have purported instilled into the bodies of our purported ancestors, Adam and Eve?
Have they?
Now, it really seems to be the case that the relationship which the gods, or God has with people.
Is largely predicated upon the traditions, the tribes, the religious rituals they have and the countries from whence they, the particular people hail from.
Except in the cases where their gods or God has been imported and transplanted within their customs, traditions and religious rituals.
Their/our gods will, to a greater extent, symbolise what a particular people is about. It will reflect their worldview.
However, critically examined, I wonder whether it is not the case that, when we look at the inequitable, the unjust and oppressive relationship between the elites of any society, and the masses.
What we are observing, is a representation, a reflection of the relationship between us humans and God or the gods.
To be continued!
