It is the case where the religions of the world are concerned, in that they are all of the past.
But are, in many cases, incongruously brought into the present, to define the present as belonging to the past.
At times akin to the death continuing to live through the living, and therein depriving the living of their own living.
Instead of the present, the current generations, being able to come to their own reinterpret of the past, and using it to help them to create their own future.
Which, in time, will also become the past of the generations they will give life to.
And what of the current crises in the world today? What if President Macron of France, is not able to prove himself to be a modern day Napolean
What if the world is not going to end tomorrow or one day? Would we be caught unaware, unprepared to deal with what confront us?
Would we be happy, relieved, but worry about picking up the pieces and continuing?
What if, like Napoleon, his fame, not only does not become as inflated, and really take of, as it were, but endure only for a very brief historical period of time?
What if it does not become 'a stepping stone', in either the history of France or the world, but becomes no more than a pebble?
Like that Of Sarkozy, Hollande,, and all those lesser and just as forgettable French Presidents since, say, the 1960s?
Would it really matter that these Presidents had dreamth big and grand dreams for France, but that France, even in 2018, remains in its 'dreaming phase?
To be continued!
