BRITAIN'S BREXIT - IS IT A LESS BRUTAL VERSION OF 'ISLAMIC CALIPHATE'? PART 1.

'If we perceive of ourselves as being more virtuous than those who oppose us.  Then, we should take great care in how we defend ourselves from the threats confronting us. So as to avoid being transformed into becoming the things which we oppose and find repugnant.'

The appearance many of us are likely to have of the brutal 'Islamic Caliphate' in parts of Iraq and Syria, is one of here today and gone tomorrow. 

Of an Icarus-like hordes, flying too closely to what they perceived as the means to an Islamic paradise. 

And getting incinerated by the Sun of  the military might of an alliance of Nato countries and their Syrian and Iraqi proteges.

With the Iraqis and the Syrians, mainly Kurdish and other Syrians rebels opposing the Syrian government, doing nearly all the dying and suffering all the maiming. 

And, with the civilian population of towns and cities such as Mosul, Kirkuk, Kobane, Raqqa and others being destroyed in the process of extracting Islamic State fighters from them.  

It might appear to us who have been fortunate enough to not having to experience that level of physical and spiritual destruction of lives and property.
