Like the current prevalence and/or publicity surrounding antisemitism, immigrant phobia, and misogyny, there is also a lot of debate about the issue of Islamophobia.
Islamophobia, which can be taken to mean a fear, a dislike, a prejudice and even hatred of Islam.
Of the tens, hundreds of millions of people who adhere to or practice the religion and way/s of life which has become know as Islam. Broadly speaking, Muslims.
Now, quite apart from the nature of Islamophobia, in order for it to be appropriately dealt with, it has to be considered and analysed in the context in which it is occurring, or is believed to be taking place.
Islamophobia, for example, is probably not a malady which will be occurring in a predominantly Muslim or Islamic country.
Such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain, Iran and Iraq, among others.
