This race, as well as having circuit characteristics, such as its obtuse bends and run of areas, which will confront the drivers and their cars with challenging potential pitfalls and which could prematurely end their and others race.
Will also have additional risks for Team Mercedes' drivers, and will require them to demonstrate maturity and prudence.
The biggest challenger for Team Mercedes in this race is probably Vettel. This means that Hamilton does not have to take any risk which endangers his chance of not finishing the race.
He needs to keep out of danger and not initiating any risky manoeuvre. Keeping Vettel behind him is his biggest ask.
If the circuit conditions and the evolving progress of the race provide him with the opportunity to go for a win, then so be it, but he has no need to take any grave risk to do so.
As for Hamilton and Team Mercedes being demoted from P.2 to P.4, well, that is just the way it is.
The prudent amongst us do endeavour to learn how to deal with difficult situations, from observing and learning from those who have gone through similar experiences before.
And so it was that Hamilton should have learnt from Vettel's Canadian Gran Prix penalty, which had benefited him. And now it is his turn, which has benefited others, including his team mate.
So, Teams and racers, like yourselves, we are all looking forward to a thrilling and enjoyable 2019 Austrian Grand Prix.
May you and us not be disappointed, and may the circuit energies and the gods of good fortune all work in sync to deliver it to you and us.
