RAHUL GHANDI'S RESIGNATION FROM INDIA'S CONGRESS PARTY - LONG IN COMING! PART 1.

The best ideas are those which, because of their concurrence with the relevant political, economic, social and/or political climate or conditions at the time of their occurrence, are able to gain great and sustained traction.

By the same token, ideas which fail to evolve to keep pace with or remain ahead of the advancement which they have contributed towards or given rise to.

Will soon become redundant and obsolute, and be unable to compete with newer and better ideas.

We see this happening with many religions, as they become unable to provide practical and viable answers to people who, with the benefit of secular education and more scientific knowledge, have outgrown the simplicity of catechism.

Or for that matter, of memorising the Quran in Arabic.

Of course, it is not only ideas that can find themselves without their original clothes, as it were, but also political parties.

Political parties which had their origins and their raison de'tre in the particularistic socio-political, economic, cultural and religious conditions in which they were established.

Will lose their appear as those conditions are transformed, disappear and replaced by other forms of injustices, inequalities and deprivation.

As we have seen in numerous post-colonial societies.

To be continued!
