So, what is the truth about people moving from one place, one country to another?
are our feelings about this event? Well, based on my personal experience and feelings about migration, I believe that we are all for and against it.
In the first instance, I believe that we are for it when it pertains to our own need to move from place A to place B; from country A to country B.
Whether it is for our own economic well-being or livelihood, which is probably the main driving force behind people having to move from their know places and countries of birth, to the unknown anticipated El Dorados to which they are attracted.
Or, as is probably the other biggest driver of people moving from one region of their countries of birth to another region or country, a result of wars, famine, floods or some other environmental catastrophe.
So, yes, it is more than likely that it is economic factors which are accounting for most of the movement of people.
A movement which has become regulated and normalised through local, national, regional and international procedure to govern the flow of people both in and out of national borders.
To be continued!
