PHILOSOPHISING ON - IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR HUMAN? FINI.

And we could make it happen. Simply by reigning in our selfish and competitive human inclination, and unleashing and boosting our cooperate and collective work ethic.

Not for many years, but for many decades.  That is how we give our and other living species a fighting chance to survive for several more millenniums.

That is how we can reduce and roll back some of the apparently irreparable harm we are doing to our ecosystem, and improve the sustainability of the life of different species inhabiting the Earth's.

However, when it come to contemplating and debating the much bigger question of whether, ultimately, there is any hope for our human species.

Then, the answer, it seems to me, is that, no, there really is no hope. We are, indeed, doomed to be destroyed. And we have little or no control over that fate, which will be played out on a cosmic scale.

But then, as far as us humans are concerned, it might not matter at all, as there probably will, would be no sentient beings on Planet Earth to ponder our demise.
