THE BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES, HAMILTON AND BOTTAS ARE BACK IN THEIR WINNING WAYS!! PART 1.

It feels like the proverbial 'ages' since we have seen Team Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas making more than the occasional Pole and winning Grand Prix races.

Not surprisingly, many of us could be forgiven for not remembering how animated and pumped up such events could and have made the Team and us, the audience, feel.

It is as if we have become used to Team Red Bull and the Mighty and, almost imperturbable Max Verstappen, like the ancient 'Rolling Calf' of epic 'Duppy stories',galloping to Pole and to the Checkered Flag on Sundays.

Now, it is not that Red Bull and the Mighty Max give any less enjoyment and pleasure than Team Mercedes and the Peerless Hamilton, when they are into their seemingly unstoppable winning phases.

No, not at all, as TRBAM, when they are being impressive and out-pacing the opposition, can and have made the competition look as if they are racing with substandard cars.

So, it is quite something super-special when, notwithstanding the shock of having their Friday's Pole removed from them, and Hamilton being relegated to the back of the start of Saturday's Sprint Race.

Team Mercedes, Hamilton and Bottas, delivered one of, if not probably the most spectacular Sprint and Race performances in the history of Formula 1 racing history.

Yes, it was aided by Hamilton having a new engine in Car 44, and with Team Mercedes having, by ways which are still only known to themselves, improved the performances of Cars 44 and 77.

But that does not diminish the magnitude of their performances during the Sprint and the Grand Prix, or the amount of enjoyment it has brought to the Team and Formula 1 fans.

To be continued!
